What is Guided Meditation?
The term meditation encompasses a wide variety of practices
for focusing the mind inward, or quieting the mind. It may be done
for religious reasons, for health and well-being, or for personal
development.
In Guided Meditation, the therapist uses the power of suggestion
and visualization to aid the patient in achieving a relaxed state,
and to guide the patient's thoughts in the desired direction.
