What is a Holistic Health
Consultation?
The goal of visiting a holistic health practitioner involves
emphasis on learning and maintaining preventative care for yourself.
The first meeting with a trained practitioner involves in depth
questions to learn about your past and present health conditions.
Lifestyle, diet, exercise and other related issues are discussed.
A consultation is confidential and any recommendations are not
intended to diagnose or prescribe. Follow-up appointments are encouraged
to enhance your progress and the length of time between visits
are assessed on an individual basis.
The regimen you take home may consist of herbs in the form of
tinctures, dried teas, or capsules. Eating habits are important
and will be addressed with whole foods as the focus for your healing
regimen. Other supplements may be recommended and described. Your
session may also include guided visualizations for relaxation that
you can implement in your daily routine. The remedies introduced
are intended to enhance your everyday health, address root causes
beneath symptoms, and help you achieve sustained wellness in body,
mind, heart, and soul.
How can Herbs and Natural Remedies help me?
Herbs and natural remedies can be safe and effective therapies
used for prevention of disease. They can help maximize one's health
potential, provide symptomatic relief for minor ailments, as well
as aid in stress related conditions, digestive conditions, and
other health complaints. Most importantly natural remedies address
the root cause of a health problem, rather than solely focusing
on symptoms.
With the willingness and compliance of the client, health imbalances
can be restored over time. Transformation can be guided and motivated
by a practitioner, but adhering to a regimen for optimal healing
is in the hands of the client. Each individual is different, therefore
each regimen will vary. The longer a condition has existed, the
longer it may take to heal.
